Festival de Berenjenas

El Festival de Berenjenas is a social and family-friendly gathering celebrated in the northern region of Buenos Aires Province. Each year, the event is brought to life by a network of cultural collectives, including Flor de Huerta, Timbó Cultural, and Qué Pasa San Isidro. The spirit of the festival lies in coming together to celebrate homemade food. Each year, through a participatory selection process, the best eggplants of the year are chosen. The three finalists receive a basket of regional and artisanal products, and the winner is also awarded a trophy. Local residents share their favorite recipes as the finest pickled eggplants are honored, celebrating creativity and flavor. In 2025, the festival celebrates its 10th edition.
